Oreck BB1200DB Compact Canister Vacuum 5.5 lbs 20 ft cord

Compact Canister Vacuum Under 5.5 lbs

The Oreck BB1200DB is a lightweight canister vacuum designed for users who need a single machine to handle carpets, hard floors and above-floor surfaces. Weighing less than 5.5 lbs, it reduces strain when carrying it between rooms or up stairs. The integrated blower function adds versatility for clearing debris in garages or workshops. On-board storage keeps the crevice tool, upholstery tool and dusting brush within reach.

HEPA Bagged Filtration and 20-Foot Cord

The vacuum uses a HEPA bagged filtration system that traps dirt and allergens inside the bag instead of releasing them back into the air. A 20-foot power cord provides a wide cleaning radius without frequent outlet changes, and it wraps around the base for tidy storage. The flexible hose and extension wand extend reach to ceiling fans and other high areas, while the adjustable shoulder strap distributes weight during longer cleaning sessions.

Check Bag Replacement Costs and Blower Needs

Buyers should verify the ongoing cost and availability of replacement HEPA bags before purchasing. The combined vacuum and blower design suits homes that need both functions; if you only need suction, a dedicated vacuum may be simpler. Ensure the 20-foot cord length matches the distance to your nearest outlets in the largest rooms you plan to clean. The unit is not suited for wet pickup or heavy construction debris.
