Oregon Scientific SE900BLK Smart Watch

The Oregon Scientific SE900BLK is a sports watch built for athletes who track multiple disciplines. It connects wirelessly to compatible smartphones and devices for data syncing. A motion sensor allows direct app manipulation from the wrist. Water resistance is rated to 50 meters (164 feet).

Who This Suits

Swimmers, runners, cyclists and hikers who want downloadable profiles for each activity will benefit. The watch pairs with BLE chest belts and bike pods for expanded metrics. Buyers who need built-in GPS mapping or onboard music storage should look at other devices. It is not suited for users requiring a rechargeable battery system.

Water Resistance 50 Meters

The 50 meter (164 foot) water resistance rating decides if this watch fits your routine. It supports pool swimming and surface water sports without damage. The included CR2032 3V lithium battery powers the unit. A bike mount is also supplied for handlebar mounting during cycling sessions.

Questions about this item

How often will I need to replace the CR2032 battery in the SE900BLK?

The watch runs on a single CR2032 3V lithium cell that is already installed; battery life varies with how often you sync profiles and use connected accessories.

What stops the SE900BLK from recording a full day of activity?

The 50-metre (164-foot) water-resistance rating lets you keep it on for swimming, so the practical limit is the memory space for stored profiles before you sync to the phone.

Does the SE900BLK get warm or noisy during all-day wear?

It has no fan or moving parts, runs silently, and the low-energy BT 4.0 link means the case stays at skin temperature even with continuous heart-rate strap and bike-pod connections.
