Four-bay enclosure holds 2.5 or 3.5 inch SATA drives up to 22 TB each with eight RAID modes, USB 3.0 up to 235 MB/s, 80 mm fan and 150 W power supply
The Orico 9948RU3 is a four-bay RAID enclosure that accepts 2.5 or 3.5 inch SATA hard drives and SSDs. It connects to a host computer over USB 3.0 and provides hardware RAID modes 0, 1, 3, 5, 10, JBOD, Clone and Clear. The aluminium chassis includes an 80 mm silent fan and a 150 W power supply for sustained multi-drive operation.
The USB 3.0 interface delivers up to 5 Gbps, which caps real-world throughput at about 235 MB/s regardless of the RAID mode or the number of drives installed. SATA 6 Gbps drives can be used, but the enclosure cannot exceed the USB link speed. Builders who need higher sustained bandwidth for video editing or large-array rebuilds will hit this ceiling.
Each bay supports drives larger than 16 TB up to a maximum of 22 TB per drive, giving a total raw capacity of 88 TB across the four bays. RAID 5 or RAID 10 configurations provide redundancy while still offering tens of terabytes of usable space. Users who require more than four drives or capacities beyond 22 TB per drive must look to larger enclosures.

This model has four bays, so with 22TB drives the maximum raw capacity is 88TB.
The 235MB/s figure is the USB 3.0 interface ceiling; sustained RAID 5 throughput will be lower once parity calculation and drive limits are factored in.
Yes — the 5Gbps USB 3.0 link caps combined throughput to roughly 235MB/s, well below the 6Gbps SATA potential of each drive.
