Questions about this item

Do the USB-A or USB-C ports wear out after many plug cycles?

The ports are rated for standard insertion cycles; no replaceable parts are inside, so the strip is replaced as a unit if a port fails.

Which protection trips first when I run a heater and charge a laptop at the same time?

Over-current protection activates before the thermal or over-voltage circuits when total draw exceeds the strip's limit.

How warm does the purple housing get after a full day of charging phones and a tablet?

The housing stays warm to the touch but within the over-heat protection threshold; the flat plug design keeps the block close to the outlet for better airflow.
