Dual USB-A and USB-C Interface

The Orico CB05 is a 32GB flash drive that combines a standard USB-A connector with a USB-C port on a rotating metal body. It is intended for people who move files between older laptops, newer phones such as the iPhone 15, 16 or 17, Android handsets, tablets and desktop PCs without carrying an adapter. The drive is supplied new and weighs 0.05KG.

Suits Mixed-Port Workflows.

This drive suits users who need a single stick for USB-A and USB-C devices and value the 360° rotating cover with a 90° lock position for port protection. Buyers who want more storage than 32GB should look at the 64GB, 128GB or 256GB versions of the same series. It is not designed for users who require sustained write speeds above 70MB/s or hardware encryption features.

Plug-and-Play Install; Cap Loss Is the Main Risk

The CB05 works immediately on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPadOS and Android with no driver installation. The zinc-alloy casing measures 57mm by 14mm by 12mm and includes a lanyard loop to reduce the chance of misplacing the drive. The only common issue is detaching the rotating cover completely, so keep the lanyard attached when the drive is in use.

Questions about this item

Does my device need both a USB-A and a USB-C port to use the CB05?

No, the drive works with either a USB-A port or a USB-C port; the dual connector means you can plug it into whichever port your computer, phone or tablet has.

Will the CB05 slow down when I also connect older USB 2.0 flash drives to the same hub?

The CB05 runs at USB 3.0 speeds on its own connection; other devices on the hub do not reduce its 150MB/s read or 70MB/s write performance.

How can I verify the CB05 is delivering the advertised 150MB/s read speed after I plug it in?

Run a benchmark such as CrystalDiskMark on a Windows, Mac or Linux machine; a sequential read result near 150MB/s confirms the drive is operating as specified.
