Universal dual-connector drive

The Orico CB05 is a 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive with both USB-A and USB-C plugs built into a single orange zinc-alloy body. It serves photographers, students and mobile workers who move files between older laptops, newer phones and tablets without carrying adapters. The 360° rotating cover locks at 90° to protect both ports from dust and pocket lint.

Faster than USB 2.0 sticks

Replacing a legacy USB 2.0 drive cuts a 4GB transfer from minutes to roughly 27 seconds at the rated 150MB/s read speed. The jump is worth it when you regularly shift multi-gigabyte video projects, RAW photo batches or system images between devices that already support USB 3.0 or 3.2 Gen 1. If your workflow stays under a few hundred megabytes per day, the extra speed may not be noticeable.

Plug in and go

No drivers or software are required on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android or iPadOS; the drive mounts the moment you insert either connector. The only common snag is forgetting to rotate the cover fully open so the chosen plug seats completely — partial insertion can cause the host to report a slower connection or no device at all. A supplied lanyard threads through the end loop to keep the drive tethered to a bag or key ring.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions I need to clear for the 57mm by 14mm by 12mm metal swivel body?

The zinc-alloy casing measures 57 mm long, 14 mm wide and 12 mm thick, so allow that much space in a tight port cluster or protective sleeve.

How do I engage the 360° rotating cover so it locks at 90° and protects both ports?

Swing the cover until it clicks into the 90° detent; that locks the shield over the unused connector and keeps dust out of both the USB-A and USB-C ends.

When should I plan to replace the drive given the 64GB capacity and 70MB/s write speed?

Replace it when the 64 GB fills with roughly 16 000 photos or 200+ songs, or if sustained writes near 70 MB/s start to slow due to cell wear.
