10 Gbps USB-C docking station with M.2 slot

The Orico CDH-10H combines a 10 Gbps USB-C hub, HDMI video output, gigabit Ethernet, audio jacks, an SD/TF card reader and an internal M.2 drive bay in a silver aluminium-and-ABS chassis. It targets laptop users who need legacy ports, wired networking and local storage expansion through a single Type-C connection. Three downstream USB-A ports and one USB-C port all operate at 10 Gbps for fast peripheral throughput.

Replaces separate hub, card reader and SSD enclosure

Buyers carrying a discrete USB hub, a card reader and an external SSD enclosure can consolidate them into this one device, saving desk space and cable clutter. The upgrade is worthwhile when the host laptop supplies DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB 3.1 or 3.2 signalling, because the dock relies on those host capabilities for video and 10 Gbps data. Without DP-Alt Mode the HDMI port stays inactive.

Limited to 4K at 30 Hz and host-dependent power

HDMI output tops out at 4K 30 Hz, so high-refresh-rate monitors will run at reduced frame rates. The single upstream Type-C port must deliver both 10 Gbps bandwidth and up to 100 W Power Delivery pass-through; if the host port cannot supply enough current, connected devices may throttle or disconnect. The M.2 slot accepts NVMe drives only, and the dock provides no active cooling for sustained heavy I/O.
