Orico EB05 128GB dual flash drive

The Orico EB05 is a 128GB USB flash drive with both a USB-C and a USB-A connector. It connects directly to iPhone 15, 16 or 17 models, Android phones, tablets, laptops and desktop PCs without any driver installation. The zinc-alloy swivel cap rotates 360 degrees to protect each port when not in use. At 0.05KG it adds almost no weight to a pocket or keyring.

Suits users moving files between USB-C phones

Buyers who need to transfer photos, videos or documents between modern smartphones and older laptops will find the dual connector convenient. The drive is formatted for immediate use on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iPadOS. It is not suitable for anyone who requires write speeds above 70MB/s or who needs a single-connector drive for a USB-C-only workflow.

150MB/s maximum read speed over USB 3.2 Gen 1

The headline specification is a read speed of up to 150MB/s, with writes reaching 70MB/s. That bandwidth handles large photo libraries and video clips quickly. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface determines the ceiling, so the drive will not go faster on a higher-specification port.

Questions about this item

What does the 150 MB/s read speed mean when I copy files to my laptop?

The 150 MB/s peak read rate lets you move large video folders or photo libraries in seconds rather than minutes, though actual throughput depends on the host controller and file sizes.

Which USB standard does the dual connector use and what bandwidth does it provide?

Both the USB-C and USB-A ends run on USB 3.2 Gen 1, giving a 5 Gbps signalling ceiling that caps real-world transfer around the quoted 150 MB/s read and 70 MB/s write.

How much space does the drive need in a bag or on a key-ring?

It weighs 0.05 kg, has a 360° zinc-alloy swivel cap and a lanyard hole, so it adds negligible bulk to a pocket or key-ring.
