Dual USB-C/A 64 GB flash drive

The Orico EB05 is a 64 GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 flash drive with both USB-C and USB-A connectors. It suits people who move files between recent phones, tablets, laptops and desktops without carrying an adapter. The orange zinc-alloy body has a 360° swivel cap that protects each port. A lanyard hole helps keep the drive attached to a bag or key ring.

Thermals noise and power

As a solid-state USB stick it has no moving parts and draws power directly from the host port. Normal file transfers stay silent and the metal casing dissipates the modest heat generated during sustained reads or writes. No fan, pump or external supply is involved so acoustics and thermals remain negligible in everyday use.

Replaces single-port drives

This drive replaces a standard USB-A stick when you also need native USB-C access on phones or newer laptops. The jump is worth it if you regularly shift data between devices that have different port types and want one drive that fits both without a dongle. It does not suit buyers who want more storage than 64 GB or who require write speeds above 70 MB/s.

Questions about this item

How do I install the EB05 on an iPhone 15 and what step do users often miss?

Plug the USB-C side directly into the iPhone 15 port; the step people miss is allowing the Files app permission to access the drive before expecting files to appear.

What maintenance or replacement will the 64GB EB05 need over time?

The drive has no moving parts and is X-Ray proof, so no scheduled maintenance is required; replacement is only needed if the 64GB capacity fills or the zinc-alloy swivel cap suffers physical damage.

What limit appears first during sustained transfers on the EB05?

The write speed ceiling of up to 70MB/s is reached before the 150MB/s read limit, so large continuous saves will bottleneck at the slower write rate.
