Purpose and fit

The Orico MA13 is an aluminium laptop holder that supports devices from 11 to 15 inches and also accommodates tablets up to 17 inches. It combines a traditional riser with a vertical stand so users can free desk space or extend their screen to a second display. The 30 degree tilt raises the screen toward eye level for more comfortable long sessions. Builders who need active cooling fans or a wider angle range will not find those features here.

Thermals noise and power

The stand uses a large hollow design that relies on natural airflow rather than fans to dissipate heat. Because there are no moving parts the unit runs silently and draws no power from the laptop or a wall outlet. Passive ventilation helps reduce overheating risk during typical office workloads. Heavy sustained loads that demand forced-air cooling will not benefit from this design.

Build and daily use

The frame is made entirely from thick aluminium alloy with a smooth curved finish that protects device edges from scratches. Assembly requires inserting three cylindrical shafts and locking the supplied screws with the included screwdriver. Once built the holder stays stable on the desk and allows the laptop to open to 180 degrees for flexible viewing. Users who prefer a one-piece foldable stand will need a different form factor.
