Power strip for desk use

The Orico SPC-S8U2-WH provides eight AC outlets and two USB charging ports in a white housing. It is intended for home and office environments where multiple devices need surge-protected power and convenient USB charging. The 5-foot cord offers placement flexibility on desks or floors. Individual on/off switches let you control each outlet separately.

Surge protection and USB output

The unit suppresses surges up to a total output of 1875W to guard connected electronics against power fluctuations and line noise. Two USB ports deliver a maximum of 17W each, with a combined USB output of 40W and automatic detection for up to 2.4A per port. No fan or active cooling is present, so operation is silent.

Compact build with individual switches

The strip measures 11.1 by 3.46 by 1.46 inches and weighs 1.55 pounds, fitting easily on a desktop or behind furniture. Eight individual rocker switches allow you to cut power to unused outlets without unplugging devices. The package includes the surge protector, a user manual and a service card.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the strip and what step is often missed?

Use the keyhole slots on the back; the step people miss is leaving a 1.46 in clearance above the strip for plug heads and switch access.

Which part will need replacement first under normal use?

The internal MOV surge elements degrade after absorbing hits; when the protection indicator stops lighting the strip must be replaced.

What limit appears first when all outlets and USB ports run continuously?

The 1875 W total AC rating is reached before the 40 W USB budget, so high-draw appliances will trip the breaker first.
