Surveillance Display Purpose

The Orion Images 24RDHY is a 23.8 inch Full HD monitor built for continuous security surveillance. It accepts analogue TVI, CVI, AHD and CVBS cameras plus a single HDMI source. The panel runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without consumer-grade duty-cycle limits.

Hybrid Input Compatibility

The decisive specification is the multi-format analogue input that auto-recognises TVI, CVI and AHD signals up to 5 megapixels alongside standard HDMI. Without that hybrid front-end the monitor cannot display footage from most existing coaxial camera installations.

Installation Notes

Mount the unit on a standard VESA bracket and connect each camera to the labelled BNC inputs; the on-screen menu detects the signal format automatically. The plastic chassis is lighter than all-metal models, so ensure the mount is rated for the weight. No built-in speakers or webcam are present, so plan separate audio if required.
