Hands-Free Workshop Safety Switch

The Ortis ETC-065 is a panel-mount foot switch rated for 110V single-phase circuits at 15 amps. It lets woodworkers and metalworkers cut power to table saws, router tables, drill presses or similar equipment with a knee, thigh or hip movement, keeping both hands on the workpiece during an emergency stop.

Plug-In Integration For Existing Tools

The unit ships with an 18-inch female cord that accepts the tool’s power plug and a 66-inch male cord for a standard wall outlet, so no permanent wiring or electrical qualification is required. Two mounting screws secure the plastic housing to most bench or leg surfaces, freeing the operator from reaching under a table to find a toggle switch.

IP57 Sealed For Sustained Shop Conditions

An IP57 rating means the switch internals resist dust ingress and temporary immersion, so coolant splash, sawdust accumulation or high-humidity cycles do not degrade contact reliability over long sessions. The large red OFF paddle and recessed green ON button are moulded from high-hardness plastic, maintaining positive tactile feedback after repeated daily actuations.
