Portable 24W IPX7 speaker

The Ortizan X10 is a new portable Bluetooth speaker that delivers 24 watts of stereo sound through two 12 watt drivers and dual passive radiators. It offers an operating range of 100 feet and a signal-to-noise ratio of 80 decibels. The speaker weighs 0.52 kilograms and measures 7.9 by 7.9 by 17.0 inches.

IPX7 waterproof rating

This unit carries an IPX7 rating, meaning it can withstand immersion in up to three feet of water for about 30 minutes. That protection covers rain, dust, snow and spills, making it suitable for beach, pool, shower or camping use. The rating is the single specification that decides whether the speaker survives wet environments.

Buyers needing true wireless stereo

The X10 supports TWS pairing so two units can create a wider soundstage, and it provides up to 30 hours of playtime on a charge. Buyers who require longer continuous runtime or a built-in power bank for charging other devices should look at alternative models. Those who prefer a more compact form factor may also find the dimensions too large for minimal packing.

Questions about this item

What does the 24 W total power mean for everyday listening?

The 24 W rating comes from two 12 W drivers plus two passive radiators, so the X10 produces room-filling stereo sound with boosted bass at any volume.

How does Bluetooth connectivity limit the 100 ft operating range?

The 100 ft range applies in open space; walls, interference and device antenna quality will reduce the practical wireless distance.

Will the 7.9 × 7.9 × 17.0 in dimensions fit in a standard backpack?

At 7.9 in wide and deep and 17.0 in tall, the speaker fits most medium-to-large backpacks, and its 0.52 kg weight adds little load.
