Dual-slot USB 3.0 card reader
The ORVIX reader accepts one full-size SD card and one microSD card at the same time. Both slots support capacities up to 2 TB and work with Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, XP, Vista, macOS and Linux. No driver installation is required on any of these systems. Photographers and media professionals can move files between cards without repeated swapping.
Check your host port and cable
The device uses a USB 3.0 interface rated at 5 Gbps and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 ports. Transfer rates will drop when both slots are active simultaneously. Ensure your computer has a free Type-A port and that the cable or hub you use supports USB 3.0 if you want the highest throughput.
Suits photographers needing dual-card offload
Users who only ever read a single card or who require a USB-C connection will not benefit from the dual-slot layout. Buyers who want more storage than 2 TB per card should look at a different solution. Anyone needing built-in cable management or a ruggedised housing for field use should consider other models.

Questions about this item
What comes in the box and do I need any extra cables?
The package contains the dual-slot card reader only. It connects directly to a USB-A port, so no separate cable is required.
Which card types fit the two slots on this reader?
The full-size slot accepts SD, SDXC, SDHC, MMC and RS-MMC cards. The smaller slot takes microSD, microSDXC and microSDHC cards up to 2 TB capacity.
What does the 5 Gbps USB 3.0 rating mean for actual transfers?
It provides up to 5 Gbps theoretical bandwidth, roughly ten times faster than USB 2.0. Real-world speed depends on the cards used and may drop when both slots are active.
