Short USB-A to USB-C Cable

This 15 cm cable connects USB-A power sources or hosts to USB-C devices. It is built for users who charge phones, stylus pens or small accessories from a power bank and want a tangle-resistant link that stays tidy in a pocket or bag.

3 A Charging and 480 Mbps Data

The cable delivers up to 3 A output with a 56 kΩ resistor for safe quick charging. USB 2.0 data runs at 480 Mbps, enough for syncing phones or tablets, but the supplier notes it is not suited for hard-drive transfers that need 5 Gbps or 10 Gbps bandwidth.

Braided Jacket and Gold-Plated Connectors

A cotton braided sheath and aluminium alloy shells protect the reversible gold-plated USB-C plugs. The construction is rated for over 10000 bending cycles, so the two-pack withstands daily connect-disconnect cycles without fraying or loose contacts.

Questions about this item

Will the 15 cm ORVIX cable reach from my laptop's USB-A port to a phone sitting on the desk?

At 15 cm the cable is very short; it only reaches devices placed directly next to the port, so a phone on the desk will likely be out of range.

How can I confirm the cable delivers the rated 3 A charging current?

Use a USB power meter between the charger and the cable; it should show up to 3 A when the connected device requests it.

Does the 2-pack include any adapters or only the two USB-A to USB-C cables?

The box contains only the two 15 cm braided cables; no extra adapters or accessories are included.
