Eight-cube storage with four doors

The OSCHF Cubby Shelf Bookcase combines four open cubes and four door-front cabinets in a warm white finish with oak legs and beech handles. Each cube measures 28 cm per side and fits standard storage bins. The unit stands 71.8 cm tall on 12 cm legs that clear most robot sweepers, and the complete back panels add rigidity.

Suits rooms needing mixed display and hidden storage

Buyers who want visible books or décor on open shelves and concealed clutter behind doors will find the split layout practical. The top panel supports up to 240 lbs, so a television or heavy objects can sit safely above. Those who require adjustable shelves, drawers, or a taller floor-to-ceiling unit should consider other configurations.

Each cube holds 60 lbs and accepts standard bins

The 28 cm internal dimension matches common fabric or plastic boxes, making organisation straightforward. MDF construction with solid wood legs keeps the piece stable at 20.729 kg overall. Assembly is required and the package includes instructions and a pair of gloves.

Questions about this item

Will the MDF panels or solid-wood legs need any treatment later?

The MDF is veneer-covered and the oak legs are solid wood; no refinishing is required under normal indoor use.

What load limit will I reach first if I fill every cube?

Each cube holds up to 60 lbs, so the per-cube limit is reached before the 240 lbs top-panel rating.

How much heat or noise does the unit produce when left assembled all day?

It is a passive wood cabinet with no powered parts, so it generates no heat and no noise.
