OSRAM Sirius HRI 230W Moving Head Lamp

The OSRAM Sirius HRI 230W is a discharge lamp designed for professional moving head fixtures. It uses a short arc and high pressure to deliver high luminance for stage touring, clubs, theatres and architectural lighting. The lamp replaces the 7R type and carries part number 54403-OB. It is built for enclosed housings that manage UV radiation and high internal pressure.

Check Fixture Compatibility Before Ordering

Verify that your moving head is listed among the approved models such as Ablelite EVA 230B, ACME XP-231 BEAM, Chauvet Rogue R2 Beam or other fixtures named in the data. The lamp requires an E 20.6 reflector housing specially constructed for SIRIUS HRI lamps. Operation in unapproved or open fixtures is unsafe due to UV output and mercury risk if the envelope breaks.

Supplied Leaflet Covers Safety And Handling

The included leaflet provides safety precautions for UV filtering, mercury exposure and high-pressure operation. It does not change the lamp's electrical or photometric performance. Follow the manufacturer's handling instructions to maintain stable light output over the lamp's lifetime and to ensure safe replacement procedures.

Questions about this item

What comes with the OSRAM Sirius HRI 230W Moving Head Discharge Lamp 54403 and what must be purchased separately?

The lamp itself is supplied new in its packaging; a compatible moving-head fixture with an enclosed lamp casing and appropriate UV filters must be provided separately.

Which version of the OSRAM Sirius HRI 230W lamp should I choose for my fixture?

Select the 54403-OB part number; it is the direct replacement for 7R lamps and fits the listed models such as the Chauvet Rogue R2 Beam and ACME XP-231 BEAM.

What does the 230 W rating mean once the lamp is installed in a moving head?

The 230 W arc produces high luminance from a very short arc gap, delivering bright, stable output for concert, stage and architectural lighting throughout the lamp's lifetime.
