Set contents

This Oster Gunderson set contains a 6.5 inch santoku knife and a 3.5 inch paring knife. Both blades are made from durable stainless steel with a black finish. The textured nonstick coating helps prevent rust and allows food to release easily during preparation.

Best fit

The two knives cover everyday chopping, slicing and detailed trimming tasks for home cooks. Buyers who need a wider selection of blade shapes or a full block set should look at larger collections. The hand-wash recommendation also means this set is not suited for anyone who requires dishwasher-safe cutlery.

Deciding spec

The textured nonstick blade surface is the feature that determines suitability. It reduces friction and resists corrosion for easier food release and maintenance. If your cooking style demands a plain polished steel edge instead, this set will not match that preference.
