Other Electricities 12 Fiber Optic Pigtail LC OM3 Unjacketed 1310nm

SKU CH-HRNE-E660G

Twelve colour-coded OM3 multimode fibres with LC connectors, unjacketed at 1310 nm for high-density patching

  • Product typeRack
  • 12 color-coded fibers simplify patch-panel identification
  • LC/UPC connectors deliver low return loss for multimode links
  • OM3 multimode fiber supports high-bandwidth 1310 nm applications
  • Unjacketed design eases fusion splicing and termination
  • 1-meter length fits standard rack-to-panel routing

12-Fiber OM3 LC Pigtail

This 12-fiber optic pigtail uses OM3 multimode fibre terminated with LC connectors at one end and left unterminated at the other. The 1-metre, unjacketed assembly is colour-coded across all 12 fibres for quick identification during splicing or termination work in rack-mounted server systems.

Installers splicing into patch panels

Technicians who need a ready-made fan-out for fusion splicing into patch panels or cassettes will find the colour-coded, 1310 nm OM3 fibre a direct fit. Buyers who require a jacketed cable for routing through ducts, or who need single-mode fibre for longer links, should look at a different product type.

1310 nm OM3 multimode wavelength

The 1310 nm operating wavelength combined with OM3 multimode fibre determines the link budget and maximum reach for the intended transceiver. Verify that the active equipment specifies 1310 nm multimode operation before purchase.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 1310nm wavelength is transmitting correctly after connecting the LC ends?

Use a visual fault locator or power meter at 1310nm on each LC connector to confirm light passes through all 12 fibers.

The pigtails arrive unjacketed — what additional materials are needed to protect and terminate them?

You will need fan-out kits, breakout tubing or splice trays, plus LC patch cables or adapters to complete the links.

The set includes 12 color-coded fibers — should I choose this 12-fiber bundle or a different count for my patch panel?

Select the 12-fiber bundle when your panel has 12 LC ports; choose a different fiber count only if your port density differs.
