Screen protector for Galaxy S23

The OtterBox Alpha Flex is a transparent screen protector moulded to the Galaxy S23 display. It uses a plastic material with a crystal coating to deliver a glass-like feel while maintaining flawless touch response. The design is optimised for curved screens and includes installation tools for a precise fit. It suits owners who want added strength without the risk of cracking or shattering.

Thermals noise and power

As a passive screen protector, the product generates no heat, produces no noise and draws no power during normal use. It adds a water-resistant layer that resists everyday splashes and spills. The 9H hardness rating helps guard against scratches from keys or coins. The ultra-strong material does not crack, shatter or chip under typical handling.

9H hardness and crystal coating

The single specification that decides suitability is the 9H hardness combined with the crystal coating, which provides glass-like clarity and strength while remaining flexible enough for curved displays. Buyers who need a tempered-glass protector that can be removed and reapplied multiple times should look elsewhere, as this film is designed for a single precision installation.

Questions about this item

How do I apply the Alpha Flex protector to the Galaxy S23 curved display without bubbles?

Clean the screen, use the included alignment frame and wet-install solution, lay the protector down from the centre outward, then squeegee excess fluid toward the edges for a bubble-free fit.

Will the plastic material need replacement if it yellows or scratches over time?

The 9H-hardness coating resists everyday scratches and the water-resistant layer slows yellowing, but deep gouges or heavy UV exposure will eventually require a new protector.

At what point does touch sensitivity degrade during long gaming sessions?

The crystal coating is designed to maintain flawless touch response, so sensitivity stays consistent even during extended high-friction use.
