Precision protection for Samsung Galaxy S9+

The OtterBox Alpha Flex screen protector is precision cut for the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and supplied new under part number 77-61005. It is made from fortified glass that defends the touchscreen against scratches, dings and drops. The anti-shatter construction avoids splintering to protect the user from sharp fragments. This accessory suits anyone who wants a clear, hardened layer without adding a full case.

Maintains touch response and display clarity

The material uses reactive touch technology so the screen keeps its original sensitivity after application. Flawless clarity preserves the phone’s native colour and brightness without a noticeable tint or haze. Because the glass is thin and rigid, it does not trap heat or interfere with the device’s normal thermal behaviour. No power draw, fan noise or extra bulk is introduced by the protector.

Stand-alone or case-compatible installation

Alpha Glass is engineered to align with OtterBox cases yet works perfectly as a stand-alone shield when no case is used. The package includes the glass panel and the cleaning kit needed for a bubble-free fit. No additional software, adhesives or tools are required to complete the installation. Buyers who want a privacy filter, a matte finish or an edge-to-edge wrap will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

How do I install the OtterBox Alpha Flex screen protector on my Samsung Galaxy S9+ without trapping dust?

Clean the display thoroughly with the included wipe, align the protector using the guide frame, then press from the centre outward to remove air bubbles.

Will the fortified glass need replacement after a certain period of use?

Replace the protector if it cracks, chips or shows deep scratches that affect visibility or touch response.

At what point does the anti-shatter layer stop preventing splintering under repeated drops?

The fortified glass is designed to absorb impact; after a severe hit that causes visible damage, the protective layer is compromised and should be replaced.
