Defender Case for iPad Pro 11-inch M4

The OtterBox Defender Case is built for the 11-inch iPad Pro with the M4 chip. It combines a hard inner shell, a soft outer slipcover and a built-in screen protector to shield the tablet from drops, dirt and everyday knocks. Port covers keep dust and debris out of connectors.

Upgrading from basic sleeves or thin shells

This case replaces minimal covers that only guard against scratches. The jump is worth it when you need drop protection tested to 2X the MIL-STD-810G 516.6 standard and a built-in screen shield. It adds a four-position stand and Apple Pencil storage that simpler sleeves lack.

Suits users who need rugged daily protection

Ideal for anyone carrying an iPad Pro 11-inch M4 in tough environments or wanting a built-in stand and pencil holder. Not suited for buyers who want a slim profile, a folio-style cover with a keyboard, or a case without a fixed screen protector.

Questions about this item

What iPad model does the OtterBox Defender case fit?

The case is made for the iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) and wraps the tablet in a hard internal shell, a soft outer slipcover and a built-in screen protector that seal around every edge.

How is the built-in screen protector installed and what step is often missed?

The screen protector is moulded into the front frame; you simply snap the front frame onto the tablet after the inner shell is seated, making sure the port covers click shut so dust cannot enter.

What parts of the Defender case wear out first and need replacing?

The soft outer slipcover and the port covers see the most abrasion; if they stretch or tear the inner hard shell and integrated screen protector remain intact and the slipcover can be swapped separately.
