Device compatibility

The OtterBox Pursuit Series case fits Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 models in a black and clear colourway. It provides protection against bumps, bruises, scratches and scrapes from falls while maintaining an ultra-thin profile. A recessed back design helps prevent surface scratches on the device. All ports, buttons and the fingerprint identity sensor remain fully accessible.

Fit verification

Confirm the exact model number on the back of your phone matches iPhone 8 or iPhone 7 before ordering. The case is moulded specifically for those dimensions and will not align with other models. Check that your device has no existing screen protector or bulky skin that could interfere with the snug fit of this ultra-thin design.

Ideal use cases

Suited for owners of iPhone 8 or iPhone 7 who want drop and scratch protection without adding significant bulk. The clear back preserves the original look of the handset. Buyers needing waterproof sealing, integrated screen protection, MagSafe compatibility or a wallet folio style should consider other case types.

Questions about this item

What comes inside the OtterBox Pursuit Series packaging for iPhone 8 and 7?

The box contains the Pursuit Series case itself, designed to fit both iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 models with precise cut-outs for every port, button and the fingerprint sensor.

Should I choose this case if I want the thinnest OtterBox option for my iPhone 8 or 7?

Yes, the Pursuit Series is described as ultra-thin while still delivering extensive drop, bump and scratch protection, so it suits buyers who prefer a slimmer profile.

How does the recessed back design protect the iPhone 8 or 7 when the phone is placed face-up on a table?

The recessed back lifts the rear surface off flat surfaces, preventing direct contact that would otherwise cause scratches or scuffs on the phone's finish.
