Clear protection for iPhone 12 and 12 Pro

The OtterBox Symmetry Series Hybrid Case is a one-piece transparent cover built for Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. Its clear finish lets the original design show through while rigid plastic defends against drops, bumps and fumbles. Raised edges shield the camera and touchscreen from surface contact. The slim profile slides into tight pockets without adding bulk.

Suits owners who want a thin.

Buyers who prefer a completely opaque finish or a multi-layer rugged shell should consider other styles. The single-piece construction does not allow a separate screen protector to be built in. Users needing a built-in kickstand, card wallet or lanyard attachment will not find those features here.

Drop-tested to three times the MIL-STD-810G 516.6

The case carries a DROP+ rating that confirms it survives three times as many drops as the military standard 810 516.6 specifies. This single figure is the key indicator of whether the protection level matches your daily handling risk.

Questions about this item

Does the one-piece design require a separate screen protector to guard the display?

Raised edges around the touchscreen provide a buffer against flat-surface contact, so an extra screen protector is optional.

Will the rigid plastic back interfere with MagSafe alignment on my iPhone 12 Pro?

The case works with Apple's MagSafe charger, meaning the magnetic array engages normally through the clear hybrid shell.

How can I verify the drop protection is active after snapping the case on?

The DROP+ rating confirms 3X the drops of MIL-STD-810G 516.6; a secure, gap-free fit around all edges shows it is seated correctly.
