Designed for iPhone 16 with MagSafe

The OtterBox Symmetry Series MagSafe Case fits the iPhone 16 precisely and adds built-in magnets that snap to MagSafe chargers and accessories. Its clear rigid plastic shell keeps the handset's original look while delivering a lightweight, shockproof layer for everyday carry.

Build integration and everyday utility

The slim profile slips into most pockets without bulk, and integrated anchors let you attach phone straps or charms. Raised edges around the camera and a screen lip lift both lenses and display off flat surfaces, freeing you from worrying about direct impact on glass.

Drop protection and thermal behaviour

DROP+ testing rates the case at three times the drops required by MIL-STD-810G 516.6, so repeated knocks are absorbed by reinforced corners rather than the phone. The rigid plastic does not trap heat during normal use, and tactile buttons preserve the original click feel without added resistance.

Questions about this item

How well does the case hold up to repeated drops?

The case is tested to withstand three times as many drops as the military standard MIL-STD-810G 516.6, with reinforced corners and raised edges around the camera for impact protection.

Will the built-in magnets affect the phone's temperature or charging speed during all-day use with a MagSafe charger?

The magnets are designed to snap firmly to MagSafe chargers and accessories without adding bulk or interfering with the phone's normal operation.

Does this case work with MagSafe chargers and accessories straight out of the box?

Yes, built-in magnets align with the iPhone 16's MagSafe system so the case snaps on to chargers, wallets and mounts without needing a separate adapter.
