DreamWorks Dragons Dawn of New Riders Xbox One

This downloadable action-adventure game places players in control of Scribbler and his hybrid dragon Patch. The pair explore ruined islands, battle enemies and solve environmental puzzles while recovering lost memories. Rated E10+ for everyone aged 10 and above, it delivers a family-friendly aerial quest set in the How to Train Your Dragon universe.

Young fans of dragon adventures

The experience suits younger players and families seeking a story-driven campaign with light combat and exploration. Buyers who want competitive multiplayer modes, deep RPG progression systems or photorealistic graphics should look at something else. The digital code requires an Xbox One console and an active Xbox Live account for redemption and play.

Single-player campaign

The game comfortably handles several hours of story content across locations like Havenholme and Valka’s Mountain. Players unlock new abilities for both characters as they progress through the narrative. Headroom runs out once the main storyline concludes, as there are no additional endgame modes, procedural content or online features to extend replay value.
