Capacity and power
The OVENTE KP72B is a 1.7 litre electric thermo pot that operates at 1100 watts. It suits households that need fast boiling for tea, coffee or cooking without waiting for a stovetop. The black finish and compact footprint fit most worktops.
Replacing a stovetop kettle
This unit replaces a traditional hob kettle and cuts energy use by about 50 percent for the same volume. The jump is worth it when you boil water several times a day and want automatic shut-off once the water reaches boiling point.
Installation and common issues
Place the pot on its base, plug it in and press the switch; no tools or plumbing are required. The removable spout filter slides out for cleaning but can be misplaced if not reinserted immediately. The cord stores in the base slots to keep the surface tidy.

Questions about this item
What are the exact footprint dimensions of the 1.7 L kettle so I can check counter space?
The unit measures 8.5 inches long by 6.7 inches wide, with a height of 9.4 inches.
What is the step people forget when placing the kettle on its power base?
The kettle must sit flat and centred on the base so the concealed heating element makes full contact; an off-centre placement stops the power circuit from closing.
Which part needs periodic cleaning to keep water debris-free?
The removable spout filter slides out for rinsing and slides back in; clean it whenever you notice scale or particles.
