Capacity and purpose

The Ovente KP72P is a 1.7L electric kettle powered by 1100W for fast boiling. It suits households that need quick hot water for tea, coffee or cooking. The BPA-free construction keeps water clean and safe for daily family use. Pink finish adds a modern colour accent to the kitchen.

Build quality and daily use

A stainless steel concealed heating element resists deterioration better than exposed designs. The spout includes a removable filter that slides out for cleaning and back in for debris-free pouring. Cool-touch handle prevents burns while the base provides built-in cord storage slots for a tidy worktop. Automatic shut-off and boil-dry protection cut power when water boils or the kettle runs dry.

Upgrade context

This model replaces slower stovetop kettles with 50% greater energy efficiency and faster boil times. It also upgrades basic electric kettles that lack concealed elements, removable filters or boil-dry safety. The jump is worth it for buyers who want quicker boiling, easier cleaning and safer operation in a single appliance.

Questions about this item

What power rating does the 1.7L kettle draw and how fast does it boil a full tank?

The kettle runs at 1100W and brings 1.7 liters to a boil in a few minutes, which the maker says is 50% more efficient than a stovetop kettle.

What are the exact height and width so I can check it fits under my wall cabinets?

It stands 9.4 inches tall and measures 6.7 inches wide at its broadest point.

How do I fit the removable spout filter back in after cleaning?

Slide the filter straight into the spout opening until it clicks; the design only allows it to seat one way, so forcing it sideways is the common mistake.
