600 lb capacity for home use

The OVUTEK VWS650-BUS is a floor scale built for home health care with a 600 lb maximum capacity and 0.1 lb resolution. It serves individuals, families and pet owners who need a single device for routine weight checks across a wide range of body types.

No active cooling or power draw concerns

The scale operates on included batteries with no fans, pumps or moving parts, so it runs silently and adds no heat to the room. There is no mains connection to manage and no ongoing power consumption beyond the cells supplied in the box.

Tempered glass platform and family mode

A 13.1 by 12.3 in tempered glass surface gives a stable, easy-clean standing area while the LED display remains readable in low light. Family mode automatically shows the difference from the last reading and the last five weight trends, supporting unlimited users without profiles or Bluetooth pairing.

Questions about this item

How do I install the scale and what step do people often miss?

Place the scale on a hard, flat surface, insert the included batteries, then wait for the display to show 0.0 before stepping on; skipping the zero-reset step gives inaccurate readings.

What maintenance will the VWS650-BUS need later?

Replace the batteries when the low-power indicator appears; the tempered glass platform only needs occasional cleaning with a damp cloth.

What limit appears first during sustained daily use?

The 600 lb maximum capacity is the hard limit; exceeding it risks sensor damage and voids accurate 0.1 lb readings.
