1/72 Scale Diecast Mosquito NF MKII

This new 1/72 scale diecast model reproduces the De Havilland Mosquito NF MKII flown by Wing Commander Peter G. Wykeham-Barnes with No. 23 Squadron at Luqa, Malta in 1943. It arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging and includes a display stand for immediate shelf presentation.

Collectors seeking authentic wartime markings

The model suits collectors and military-history enthusiasts who value accurate panel lines, antennas, access panels and surface details in a durable diecast metal and plastic build. Buyers who need opening canopies, movable control surfaces or interior cockpit detail should look elsewhere, as this model has no openings.

Fixed-display 1/72 scale with included stand

The single specification that decides fit is the 1/72 scale combined with a sealed exterior and supplied display stand, making it a ready-to-show piece rather than a kit or interactive toy.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/72 scale Mosquito NF MKII fit in a display case built for other 1/72 aircraft?

Yes, its 1/72 scale matches the standard for most diecast aviation collections, and the 6.75-inch length with 9-inch wingspan sits alongside similar models without looking oversized.

How can I confirm the panel lines and antennas are accurate to the 1943 Night Fighter variant?

Compare the raised panel lines, antenna masts, and access-panel outlines on the diecast fuselage to reference photos of No. 23 Squadron Mosquitoes at Luqa; the model reproduces those external details without opening panels.

Does the box include a display stand or must I buy one separately?

A display stand is included in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging, so no separate purchase is needed for shelf presentation.
