Oxford Diecast Jaguar SS RHD 1/148 Scale Model

This 1/148 scale diecast model replicates the Jaguar SS RHD in suede green with a black top. It is produced by Oxford Diecast as an officially licensed product for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts. The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging. True-to-scale detail defines both the interior and exterior.

Plastic Display Showcase Protects Sealed Model

The car comes inside a plastic display showcase that keeps the model dust-free while on a shelf. Because the diecast body has no opening parts, the case preserves the factory finish without the need for handling. The showcase also supports the original unopened box during storage. This packaging choice suits collectors who prefer a ready-to-display item.

Fixed 1.125 Inch Length Limits Display Options

At approximately 1.125 inches long, the N-scale model fits compact layouts but cannot accommodate larger diorama scales. The sealed construction means wheels, doors and bonnet remain static for photography or rearrangement. Buyers who want moving parts or a larger physical presence should consider other scales. The small footprint suits dense cabinet arrangements.

Questions about this item

Will the paint or diecast body need any special care or replacement parts over time?

The model is a sealed diecast piece with no moving parts or openings, so no replacement components are required; occasional dusting of the plastic showcase keeps it clean.

What is the first limitation you hit when displaying this model continuously?

At 1/148 scale the car measures only 1.125 inches long, so the limiting factor is the tiny footprint — it fits on a shelf edge but offers no functional features to interact with.

Does the model generate any noise, heat or draw power when left on display all day?

It is a static diecast collectible with no electronics, batteries or moving mechanisms, so it produces zero noise, zero heat and consumes no power.
