1/148 Scale Volkswagen T2 Van

This 1/148 scale diecast model replicates the Volkswagen T2 Van in Peru Green. It is made for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value officially licensed replicas. The model features true-to-scale detail on both the interior and exterior. It arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Upgrade from smaller scales

Collectors moving up from smaller scales gain a more substantial presence without needing a large display footprint. The jump is worth it when shelf space is limited but visible detail remains a priority. The fixed, sealed construction means no moving parts to maintain or lose over time.

Check display case fit

Verify that your display showcase can accommodate a model approximately 1.125 inches long. The plastic display showcase included with the model may not fit inside tighter custom cases or multi-model risers. Buyers who need opening doors, a steering mechanism or removable components should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What size display area does the 1/148 scale Volkswagen T2 Van require?

The model measures approximately 1.125 inches long, so a small shelf or cabinet space of a few inches square is sufficient.

How should the diecast van be removed from its plastic showcase without damage?

Lift the showcase lid gently and grasp the van by its sturdy body sides; avoid pulling on delicate details such as mirrors or bumpers.

Will the paint or plastic parts on this Peru Green van degrade over time?

Diecast metal and stable plastics resist fading; keep the model away from direct sunlight and dust it occasionally with a soft brush.
