Mini whisk for small tasks

The OXO Good Grips Mini Whisk measures 7.25 in and is built from stainless steel wires with an hourglass handle. It is designed for mixing salad dressings or beating a single egg in narrow or shallow vessels. The tool is dishwasher safe and sold as a single piece.

Suited for compact prep, not large batches

Home cooks who regularly whisk vinaigrettes, sauces or one egg in a cup or ramekin will find the size efficient. Buyers who need to aerate larger volumes of cream or batter should look at a larger whisk instead.

7.25 in length fits small containers

The overall length of 7.25 in (18.42 cm) determines whether the whisk reaches the bottom of a mug, jar or small bowl without excessive handle protrusion. Check your vessel depth before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I insert the 7.25 in whisk into a narrow jar without bending the stainless steel wires?

Hold the hourglass handle near its centre and lower the wires straight down; twisting while inserting bends the loops and reduces mixing efficiency.

What part of the OXO 11362100 Mini Whisk wears out first and how do I address it?

The stainless steel wires can fatigue at the handle junction after heavy use; the whisk is a single piece so the entire unit is replaced.

At what point does the 18.29 cm handle become uncomfortable during continuous whisking?

The hourglass profile supports the palm, but prolonged vigorous beating transfers vibration to the fingers after several minutes.
