7-Piece Stainless-Steel Cutlery Set

This OXO 3771181 set contains seven pieces of stainless-steel cutlery with black resin handles. Each piece measures 9.1 inches long and features a hexagonal grip for secure handling. The set weighs 17 grams and is manufactured in Japan by Daikoku Kogyo.

Home cooks needing lightweight daily utensils

The hexagonal resin handles suit adults and children who prefer a light, non-slip grip. Buyers requiring dishwasher-safe flatware should look elsewhere because care instructions specify hand washing only. The seven-piece count may not cover larger households or formal place settings.

Hand-wash-only care requirement

Stainless-steel blades and resin handles tolerate heat up to 484 °F and resist acid, alkali and mild detergent without discolouration. The material complies with Food Sanitation Act No. 370 and withstands steam or bleach sterilisation. Hand washing is mandatory to maintain the finish and anti-slip tips.

Questions about this item

How long will the resin handles last before they need replacing?

The resin handles are heat resistant to 484°F (240°C) and resist acids, alkalis and mild detergents without discoloration or degradation, so they do not wear out under normal kitchen use.

What stops me from using these chopsticks continuously in a busy kitchen?

The only practical limit is the hand-wash-only care instruction; the material itself withstands steam sterilisation, bleach and 484°F heat without deteriorating.

Do the chopsticks get hot or slippery when left in a steaming pot all day?

The hexagonal resin handles stay cool and the anti-slip tips keep grip secure even at the 484°F (240°C) heat-resistance limit.
