Compact conical burr grinder

The OXO 8720800 is a compact conical burr grinder designed for home coffee preparation. It holds up to 50 grams of beans and produces enough grounds for up to 6 cups or 30 oz of coffee. The unit stands 11 in or 28 cm tall and measures 3.75 in wide, fitting easily on countertops or in cabinets. Its Tritan renew hopper and grounds container use certified recycled content.

15 settings with micro-adjustments

The grinder offers 15 main settings and 29 micro-adjustments, covering fine to coarse grind ranges. Stainless steel conical burrs deliver consistent particle size across the spectrum. This precision supports repeatable results for different brewing methods. The mechanism maintains steady output without needing frequent recalibration during daily use.

Removable burrs and Tritan renew parts

Both upper and lower burrs are removable for thorough cleaning without tools. The Tritan renew hopper and container are food-safe and made from plastics diverted from landfills via a mass balance process. The slim 3.75 in footprint leaves room for other appliances. Buyers who need larger batch capacity or commercial-grade throughput should consider higher-volume models.

Questions about this item

How loud is the OXO 8720800 grinder when running continuously for a full morning of brewing?

The compact conical burr motor runs quietly enough for early-morning use; at 11 inches tall the small footprint keeps vibration low on the countertop.

What power source does the 8720800 need — batteries or a wall outlet?

It plugs into a standard household outlet; no batteries or separate power brick are required.

Will the 50 g hopper and 15 grind settings work with my older drip brewer and French press?

Yes — the 15 macro settings plus 29 micro-adjustments cover fine for drip through coarse for French press, and the 50 g capacity yields up to 30 oz per batch.
