Large Turner Surface

The OXO Classic slotted turner provides a broad nylon head measuring 8.73 inches by 3.38 inches for lifting and serving. Its 13.66-inch overall length keeps hands clear of hot pans. The Empire Red finish adds a visible accent in the kitchen. Cooks who frequently handle wide fish fillets or delicate pancakes will appreciate the generous surface area.

Heat Resistance and Cleaning

The nylon head withstands temperatures up to 450°F or 232°C and is safe for non-stick cookware. A slotted design lets excess oil drain back into the pan during use. The turner is dishwasher safe for quick cleanup after cooking. Users who need higher temperature tolerance or metal utensils should consider other tools.

Nylon Fibreglass Reinforced Head

The head uses nylon with fibreglass reinforcement for rigidity while remaining gentle on coatings. A glossy ABS handle includes a satin chrome plated bolster and endcap for grip comfort. The one-piece construction has no removable parts. Buyers who prefer a solid metal turner or a different handle material will not find that here.

Questions about this item

How do I install the slotted turner so the head does not wobble on the handle?

The head is permanently bonded to the ABS handle with a fibreglass-reinforced nylon bolster; no assembly is required, and the joint cannot be tightened or adjusted.

What maintenance or replacement will the turner need over time?

The nylon head is heat-resistant to 450°F/232°C and dishwasher-safe; if the slots warp or the handle cracks, the one-year hassle-free replacement covers it.

What limit appears first when the turner is used continuously at high heat?

The 450°F/232°C heat-resistance rating of the nylon head is the first limit; exceeding it can soften the material and cause permanent deformation.
