7-Piece Cutlery Set

The OXO Happy Sales HS-100DC is a 7-piece cutlery collection built with stainless steel blades and wood handles finished in black. It is designed for home cooks who want a compact set of essential knives for daily meal preparation.

Hand Wash Only Care

The wood handles require hand washing to preserve their finish and structure, replacing sets with dishwasher-safe synthetic grips that tolerate machine cycles. The jump is worth it for users who prefer the feel and balance of natural wood and accept the manual care routine.

Compact Kitchen Storage

At .75 pounds the set adds minimal weight to a drawer or block, while the 9-inch blade length covers common slicing and chopping tasks. The round ergonomic handles suit a variety of grip styles, freeing up space that larger multi-piece blocks would occupy.

Questions about this item

What drawer or block space does the 7-piece set with 9-inch blades and 0.2-inch depth require?

Each piece is 9 inches long and only 0.2 inches deep, so a standard knife block slot or a drawer tray at least 9 inches deep and 0.2 inches wide per knife will hold the set.

How should I clean the stainless steel blades and wood handles without damaging them?

Hand wash only with warm soapy water, rinse immediately and dry the wood handles thoroughly; never put any piece in the dishwasher or soak the handles.

When will the wood handles need attention, and what should I do?

Over time the wood can dry out; rub food-grade mineral oil into the handles occasionally to keep them from cracking or splintering.
