24-Piece Knife Set with Block

The OXO FST-14K2H supplies a 24-piece collection of German stainless steel blades housed in a walnut block. It covers chef, santoku, paring, bread and utility knives plus a built-in sharpener. The set targets home cooks who want a complete, ready-to-use cutlery solution in one purchase.

German Steel Blades and Walnut Handles

High-carbon German stainless steel is vacuum quenched for hardness and rust resistance, keeping edges sharp through daily prep. Full-tang construction balances each knife while the walnut handles provide a secure, non-slip grip. The block keeps blades protected and organised on the countertop.

Replaces Scattered Individual Knives

This set replaces a mismatched drawer of dull or single-purpose knives with a unified, sharpened lineup. The jump is worth it when you prepare meals daily and need consistent performance across chopping, slicing and bread tasks without hunting for the right blade.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the 24-piece knife block on the countertop without it sliding?

Place the walnut block on a stable, dry surface measuring at least 15.3924 by 24.9936 centimetres; the 3.792-kilogram weight keeps it steady during knife removal.

What ongoing care does the German stainless steel require to stay rust-resistant?

Hand-wash each blade and dry immediately; the vacuum-quenched high-carbon steel resists corrosion but dishwasher cycles can dull edges and damage the walnut handles.

At what point does the 9-inch chef's knife lose its factory edge during heavy daily prep?

The high-carbon German stainless steel holds its razor-sharp edge through extended use; when slicing feels less precise, use the included sharpener to restore the original angle.
