Build quality and daily handling

Each piece measures 6.25 inches long and is described as heavyweight for a solid feel in the hand. The CPLA handle material is BPI certified commercially compostable under ASTM D6400 CERT#10528683, BPA free, plastic free and tree free. Heat tolerance reaches 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

What to verify before ordering

Buyers who need dishwasher-safe flatware should look elsewhere because care instructions specify hand wash only. Households requiring more than 24 pieces for larger gatherings will need additional sets. The black colour finish should match existing tableware preferences.

The set measures 8.89 L x 10.9982 W x 16.51 H centimetres, or 6 L x 4 W x 3.3 H inches.

Can I put these in the dishwasher, or is hand-washing mandatory?

Care instructions state hand wash only; the polylactic acid handles are heat tolerant to 200 but not dishwasher safe.
