Pottery Stripper Bowl Mint 1.5 L

The OXO Pottery Stripper Bowl in mint is a ceramic kitchen tool designed to remove leaves from herb stems quickly. It fits a 1.5 L bowl and features four hole sizes for different stem thicknesses. The handmade pottery construction provides a durable, decorative piece that also serves as a prep or serving dish. Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning after use.

Home cooks who prep fresh herbs regularly

This bowl suits cooks who frequently work with parsley, basil, rosemary, thyme, mint and similar herbs and want a single tool for stripping and serving. It is less suited for kitchens that rarely use fresh herbs or prefer a dedicated stripper without a bowl. Buyers needing a collapsible or compact tool for minimal storage space should consider other options.

Four-hole ceramic stripping design

The defining specification is the four differently sized holes in the ceramic sidewall that match common herb stem diameters. This multi-hole layout lets you strip delicate and woody herbs with one pulling motion. The same bowl doubles as a grinding surface for spices and a serving vessel for dips or snacks. Ceramic material resists staining and is dishwasher safe.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the ceramic bowl generate during all-day herb stripping?

The ceramic material stays at room temperature during use because the stripping action relies on manual pulling rather than any powered mechanism.

What existing kitchen items are needed for the stripper bowl to function?

Only fresh herbs or leafy greens such as parsley, basil, rosemary, thyme, mint, dill, kale or shiso are required; the bowl itself provides the four sized stripping holes.

Can the 1.5 L bowl sit stably on an older, uneven countertop?

The handmade pottery base is substantial and glazed, giving it a steady footing on most surfaces, though a severely warped countertop may still cause slight rocking.
