Product identity

This OXO Richbond set contains 24 black fiberglass-reinforced PBT spoons, each 9 inches long. The hexagonal handles resist rolling on work surfaces. Designed for home cooks and professional kitchens serving Japanese dishes such as ramen, udon, soba, tofu and sushi. Not suited for buyers who need a variety of utensil types in a single purchase.

Heat behaviour

Fiberglass-reinforced PBT handles withstand temperatures up to 428°F (220°C) without softening. The material remains stable during prolonged contact with hot broth or when left resting in a heated serving bowl. No deformation or degradation occurs under normal cooking and serving conditions. Not intended for direct flame or oven use beyond the stated limit.

Installation and pitfalls

Spoons are dishwasher safe and require no assembly or special preparation before first use. The non-slip cross-shaped tips and four grip rings reduce dropping risk with slippery foods. The hexagonal profile prevents rolling off counters. Buyers who prefer metal utensils or need colour-coded sets for allergy separation may find the all-black finish limiting.
