Multiple Usage

This OXO silicone mat serves as a drying surface for dishes, a heatproof pad up to 450°F, a non-slip liner for drawers or refrigerators, and a stable base for pet bowls or bottles. Its food-grade, BPA-free construction suits everyday kitchen tasks. The green finish adds a subtle colour accent to counters or bars.

Practical Limits

The mat measures 17 inches by 6 inches, so it covers a narrow strip rather than a full countertop. Heat resistance stops at 230°C, meaning it cannot protect surfaces from broiler pans or direct flame. The silicone material resists water but does not absorb large spills.

Capacity and Headroom

One mat handles a handful of washed cups, a coffee dripper or a small baking sheet. Rolling or folding it reduces storage bulk to a fraction of its flat size. For larger drying jobs or multiple simultaneous tasks, additional mats would be needed.

Questions about this item

What size should I pick for a standard sink?

The mat measures 17 by 6 inches, so it fits most single-bowl sinks and leaves room on the counter for cups or bottles.

How hot can items be before they damage the mat?

It withstands heat up to 450 °F or 230 °C, so hot pans straight from the oven can sit on it safely.

Will the mat slide around on a wet countertop?

The food-grade silicone grips the surface and stays in place even when the counter is wet.
