Skater 24-Piece Bamboo Cutlery Set

The OXO Skater collection delivers a 24-piece black cutlery set with bamboo handles for everyday dining. Stainless steel blades and ergonomic rectangular-prism grips suit home cooks who prefer lightweight, hand-wash-only utensils. The Studio Ghibli-inspired design appeals to fans of Japanese character tableware.

Bamboo handles and hand-wash care

Bamboo handles provide an anti-slip grip that stays comfortable during extended meals while keeping the set lightweight at 18 centimeter blade length. Hand-wash-only care preserves the natural material and black finish, so the pieces avoid dishwasher heat and harsh detergents that could degrade the wood over time.

Simple setup with one limitation

No assembly is required — each piece is ready to use straight from the packaging. The hand-wash restriction means the set is not suited for households that rely exclusively on machine washing, and the fixed 24-piece count does not expand for larger gatherings.

Questions about this item

Will the bamboo handles need oiling or special care over time?

The set is hand-wash only and the 18-centimetre bamboo handles should be dried promptly to prevent cracking.

What stops the stainless-steel blades from dulling first with daily use?

The 9-inch blades are stainless steel and will hold an edge longer than the bamboo handles resist wear.

How much heat can the bamboo handles take before they warp in a hot kitchen?

Bamboo handles are not heat-rated; keep them away from direct stove heat or boiling water to avoid warping.
