Radio Replacement Interface 29-Bit LAN
The PAC LCGM29 allows installation of an aftermarket radio in select non-amplified GM LAN vehicles while keeping factory safety chimes. It works with 14-pin and 16-pin factory connectors and provides a 10-minute retained accessory power output. Firmware updates are performed through the PAC-UP USB adapter downloaded from the PAC website.
Sustained Operation
The interface maintains chime retention and RAP output continuously during vehicle use without time-limited performance drops. The 10-minute accessory timer resets reliably with each ignition cycle for daily driving. Update capability ensures long-term compatibility if vehicle bus parameters change.
Build and Connectivity
The unit plugs directly into the existing 14-pin and 16-pin harnesses for a secure, solder-free connection. Its compact housing fits behind the dash without requiring additional mounting brackets. The USB update port remains accessible for future firmware revisions.
