Two compact trigger modules unlock video playback on aftermarket radios while the vehicle is moving, with no programming required
The PAC TR1 Video Lockout Bypass Trigger Module is a compact automotive accessory sold as a pack of two. It enables video playback on compatible aftermarket head units while the vehicle is moving. The module is designed for installers or owners adding a new radio that locks video by default. No programming is needed for basic operation.
The trigger works by bypassing the parking-brake safety interlock that disables video on most aftermarket stereos. It is only effective with head units that accept this specific trigger input, such as popular Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine and Pioneer NEX models. Radios without a compatible bypass wire or those requiring a data-bus command will not function with this module. Local traffic laws may restrict video-in-motion use regardless of hardware capability.
Confirm that your aftermarket radio provides a dedicated parking-brake or video-bypass input wire before ordering. Verify the head unit brand and model appear on the compatibility list supplied by the manufacturer. Ensure you have access to the wiring harness behind the dashboard for the required connections. The pack contains two identical modules intended for separate installations or a spare unit.

Each pack contains two TR1 modules, so a single pack covers two separate head units or provides a spare for future use.
Yes, the TR1 is designed to unlock video playback on compatible Pioneer NEX and other aftermarket radios when the vehicle is in motion.
The TR1 uses a basic trigger-wire connection rather than a CAN-bus interface, so installation only requires tapping the appropriate parking-brake or gear-position wire.
