Dash-mount USB adapter for aftermarket head units

This adapter provides a convenient front-access USB port for newer aftermarket stereos that only have a rear USB input. It is designed for Pioneer, Kenwood and Alpine head units and includes a mounting bracket for secure installation in a dash opening.

Three-foot cable length for typical dash-to-rear

The 3 ft cable comfortably spans the distance from a front dash mount to the rear USB port on most single-DIN and double-DIN installations. It will not reach if the head unit is mounted unusually far back or if the cable must be routed around large obstructions.

Questions about this item

Will the 3 ft cable reach from my Pioneer head unit's rear USB port to the dash mounting location?

The adapter is 3 ft long and designed for Pioneer, Kenwood and Alpine head units with rear USB inputs, so it should span the typical distance between the rear port and a dash mount.

How can I confirm the USB connection is active after installing the bracket and plugging in the head unit?

The head unit will display the USB source or show connected device information on its screen when the adapter is properly seated and the cable is fully inserted into the rear port.
