Safety Knife for Food and Manufacturing

The Pacific Handy Cutter RSC-432 is a fixed-blade safety knife designed for food service and manufacturing facilities. Its bladeless construction and safety point reduce the risk of accidental injury during repetitive cutting tasks. The ergonomic handle supports comfortable use throughout a shift. This tool suits workers who need consistent, straight cuts on packaging or light materials.

Automatic Relocking Hood and Three-Button Operation

The knife uses an automatic re-locking safety hood that covers the blade when not actively cutting. A three-button mechanism requires deliberate engagement, keeping fingers clear of the cutting path. This design limits exposure to the fixed blade, but it also restricts the tool to straight-line cuts on compatible materials. It is not suited for precision trimming, curved cuts or heavy-duty slicing.

Simple Handheld Use With Minimal Setup

No assembly is required; the knife is ready to work straight from the package. The fixed blade cannot be replaced or adjusted, so the entire unit is discarded when the edge dulls. Users unfamiliar with the three-button release may find the initial operation stiff until the mechanism breaks in. The lightweight build at 0.07 units helps reduce hand fatigue during extended use.

Questions about this item

Is the RSC-432 sold in different blade lengths or colours?

The RSC-432 is supplied as a single model with a fixed blade and safety point; no alternative lengths or colour options are listed.

How does the bladeless design and automatic re-locking hood work when I am slicing packaging?

The bladeless edge cuts material while the hood snaps back over the edge as soon as pressure is released, keeping fingers clear during use.

What does the three-button mechanism control on this knife?

The three buttons operate the blade release and the automatic re-locking safety hood so the edge stays covered until deliberately engaged.
