Pacific Handy Cutter S4SR Safety Knife Rounded Safety Blade hand tool

Safety knife with self-retracting blade

The Pacific Handy Cutter S4SR is a hand tool designed for box cutting in warehouse, shipping and receiving environments. Its rounded safety blade retracts automatically once the cut is finished to reduce laceration risk. A fixed steel guard protects the user and acts as a cutting guide for consistent results. The cutter is available in green for right-handed users and red for left-handed users.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Confirm the tool’s handedness matches the operator, as separate green and red versions are sold for right and left hand use. Verify that the self-retracting mechanism suits the material thickness and packaging types you handle daily. Ensure any required accessories such as the UKH-423 holster or CL-36 lanyard are ordered separately if needed. No power source or software setup is involved.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Ideal for workers who open high volumes of corrugated boxes and want a guard that prevents blade flex and content damage. The five blade depth positions help adapt to different carton walls. Buyers who need a utility knife for general-purpose cutting, precision trimming or materials other than box board should consider a different tool type.
