Panasonic BQ-CC17 Smart Charger + 4 AAA 800mAh Eneloop NiMH Batteries

SKU CH-24C6-R1C4S MPN BQ-CC17

Smart charger with four 800 mAh AAA Eneloop NiMH cells charges AA at 300 mA and AAA at 150 mA from 100–240 V AC input

  • Battery typeAAA
  • Smart charger handles worldwide voltage from 100 to 240V
  • Four Japanese-made Eneloop AAA cells deliver 800 mAh each
  • Independent charging channels let you mix AA and AAA sizes
  • Low 150 mA AAA charge current protects battery health
  • NiMH chemistry gives 1.2 V output with no memory effect

Smart charger kit

The Panasonic BQ-CC17 package combines a mains-powered smart charger with four AAA Eneloop NiMH cells rated at 800 mAh. It suits households that want a single unit to replenish common low-drain devices such as remote controls, clocks or wireless keyboards. The charger accepts a wide AC input range and manages each slot independently.

Charging limits

The unit operates from 100 to 240 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz and draws 0.2 A. It delivers a fixed DC output of 1.5 V at 300 mA for AA sizes and 150 mA for AAA sizes, so AAA cells charge at half the current of their larger counterparts. No faster rate or selectable current is provided, and the charger does not support other chemistries.

Capacity and headroom

Each included AAA cell stores 800 mAh at 1.2 V, giving enough energy for weeks of typical remote or sensor use. The low self-discharge characteristic of the Eneloop line means the batteries retain most of their charge during months of storage. They are not suited for high-drain equipment that demands sustained currents beyond the modest capacity of a AAA NiMH cell.
